After being locked down at home for the better part of 2020, consumers just really want to be anywhere but home. One tour operator is making the most of this sentiment by offering "Survivor" like experiences where participants are taken to a mystery destination and are then left alone in the middle of a remote landscape. These "blind" adventure trips are growing in popularity and meant as a digital distraction requiring intense physical and mental focus. They're being billed as a need to "get lost to find yourself." Perhaps it is no surprise then that Delta Airlines also just quietly announced that anyone who purchases Basic Economy tickets will no longer earn frequently flyer miles!
